CANVAS PRINTING AND STRETCHING

There is no better way to preserve and present a photo than to print it onto canvas.

A properly prepared stretcher frame is basic to the long life of a good canvas print, given the rigours of storage and viewing space to which it will almost certainly be subjected. A good foundation is needed to start with to prevent damage caused by time, travel and climate.  

It is critical that the proper tension on the canvas be maintained throughout the life of the print.. The quality of the wood used in making a stretcher has a major impact on the long term stability of the stretched canvas. The wood should be of a select clear grade, with straight grain, free of knots, splits, resin blisters and other defects.

Our printed images are on a 40mm thick wooden frame, adding a quality look to your print. Images can be wrapped around the edge or a white edge can be opted for. We are also able to offer other substrate solutions which will enhance your requirements such as fabric and vinyl.
